Uncle Greenspan

Caught a glimpse the other day of Alan Greenspan's book sitting on the library shelf. Maybe you caught Mr. Greenspan's "jeez-I-don't-know-what-happened-it-wasn't-supposed-to-turn-out-this-way" performance, the one he coughed up to Congress a couple of weeks ago. It looked like a variation on Seinfeld's Uncle Leo routine, the one where he's picked up for shoplifting and tries to weasel out with the "I'm an old man, I get confused" line. In any case, here's hoping Greenspan's book quickly makes its way to the remainder section in bookstores everywhere, right next to titles like 101 Ways to Have Fun with Sage and Other Herbs.
